You Can Have More Energy Now. . .

Hello! Thanks for spending a few minutes with us. We're excited to give you great tips, news and inspiration, so you can have more energy and joy every day

You Need Rest!

Are you getting enough sleep? The amount of sleep you get has a lot to do with how much energy you have. The ideal is 8 hours a night. How much sleep do you get? Two thirds of women report insomnia at least one night every week. Lack of sleep can make you feel tired, irritable and just plan exhausted. It can even contribute to weight gain.

Top Tips for More Sleep. . .
ú Stay away from caffeine late in the afternoon and evening. It can keep you awake.
ú Relax and avoid high anxiety activities before bedtime, like paying bills. Instead begin to relax at least an hour before you put your head on the pillow.
ú Lower the temperature and make your bedroom a bit cooler.
ú Try to go the bed at the same time each evening. The routine will help you sleep soundly.
ú Make your bedroom a sanctuary. Keep it clutter free, beautiful, and restful. Invest in the most comfortable bedding you can afford.
ú Before you go to sleep, pray, and meditate.
Sweet dreams!

"For I know the plans I have for you" declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you". . .Jer. 29:11

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? 1 Cor. 6:19

Eat a Rainbow of Colors
God made fantastic fruits and vegetables to give your body the vitamins, minerals, and fiber you need to do your best. Better yet, almost all of them are low in calories. Only 10 percent of Americans eat enough of these colorful gifts from God.
Look for color at the produce section.
Eat a rainbow of colors.
Dark leafy greens, broccoli, red peppers, carrots, blueberries, oranges and apples. More colors mean a variety of nutrients.

Do you lack energy? Get moving Energy Girls!

1. Start walking! Walking revs up your metabolism.
Even after you stop walking you will continue to burn more calories.
 2. Walking can help lift depression. Women suffer from depression twice as often as men.
 3. Schedule a walk into your day like you would any other appointment you must keep. Don't think of it as optional.

Women that walk regularly have less depression, weight gain and anxiety. God made your body to work best when you exercise regularly. When it rains, do something Energy Girls love to do--mall walk! Get Moving Energy Girls!

We would be honored to join you in ministry. Contact us about bringing an "Energy for God's Women Event" to your church! We look forward to hearing from you.
